Different settings and info you should be aware of. Info you should submit so the list is set up the way you expect:

  1. Subject prefix: the "[name of list]" that appears in the subject line of all messages going out... you don't want this too long.
  2. moderator: the person that "owns" the list. They will have extra rights to the list.
  3. moderated: will this be a moderated list, one that all messages must be approved by the moderator.
  4. default maximum size of a message is 40 KB. This has always been sufficient.
