Subscribe / Unsubscribe - To join or leave the mailing list.

Digest On / Off - Digest On will send you ONE email a day with all the email from that day. Digest Off will put you back to getting each email as they come in. You MUST already be a member of the list before using this function.

Holiday On / Off - Holiday On will suspend your receiving of the list without unsubscribing you. Holiday Off will resume emails from the list.

• If your list isn't in the pulldown menu (often because it's a private or moderated list), You can do simple subscribes and unsubscribes by using the following format to send an email command.
  
  Just send an email (subject and body don't matter but many email systems will reject an email if you leave them blank) to any of the email addresses associated with the list you are trying to work with.
  
  listname = anylist
  anylist@listserv.buffalostate.edu   Send a post to the list.
  anylist-join@listserv.buffalostate.edu   Join the list.
  anylist-digest@listserv.buffalostate.edu   Join the list in digest mode.
  anylist-leave@listserv.buffalostate.edu   Leave the list.
  
  Be sure to check your SPAM or Junkmail folders for followup messages.
  
  Note some mailing lists already have a dash in them so don't confuse the listname with a command.
  
  example:
  listname = anylist-today
  anylist-today@listserv.buffalostate.edu   Send a post to the list.
  anylist-today-join@listserv.buffalostate.edu   Join the list.
  anylist-today-digest@listserv.buffalostate.edu   Join the list in digest mode.
